How does the Ignition Server provide wireless security?
Ignition Server, in conjunction with any wireless switch or access point that supports WPA (WiFi Protected Access) and WPAv2, enables secured encrypted wireless networks via the 802.1X protocol. Ignition Server acts as the authentication and authorization server, controlling user access to wireless networks based on user credentials, location, and a host of other rich attributes. In addition, Ignition Server can instruct a wide-range of popular wireless switches to place individuals into different network compartments.
